Cannabis-Stuffed Arepas with Black Beans & Plantains

Crispy corn cakes stuffed with savory beans, sweet plantains, and infused avocado-lime crema. A Latin American cannabis delight.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups arepa flour (masarepa)
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cooked black beans
  • 1/2 ripe plantain, sliced and fried

Crema:

  • 1/2 avocado
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp cannabis olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Make arepa dough: Combine flour, salt, water. Form into disks.
  2. Cook: Pan-fry until golden, then bake at 375°F for 10 mins.
  3. Prepare filling: Fry plantains, warm beans.
  4. Make crema: Blend avocado, lime, cannabis oil, salt.
  5. Assemble: Slice arepas, fill with beans, plantains, and drizzle with crema.
